one-to-one
traditionally, yoga was taught this way. the elements that best serve us in our yoga practice shift and change along with our lives. working one-to-one allows for practice to meet individual and current needs, offering a supportive space to explore and deepen into what feels most alive and nourishing now.
one-to-one sessions are an excellent support for confidently establishing a personal practice that best serves. students might gain insight into habits or discover more integrated, easeful ways of moving.
students might also come for one-to-one sessions to practice safely and skilfully when healing from injury, working with a specific condition, or when curious to explore a particular area of inquiry.
when working one-to-one i will design a personal practice for you, if you wish, and am available for support as you begin to work with it. practice might be a combination of movement, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra.
email support is available for any questions that may arise between sessions, and i will send resources as appropriate. the timing of your sessions can be spaced to suit your progress and preference. students new to the practice or to my work often choose to take their first few sessions weekly to help familiarise themselves with the practice i’m suggesting, then may choose to space out subsequent sessions.
everyone is different and i will, of course, book single sessions if this works best for you and what you are looking for from one-to-one. depending on the work you wish to do, the process may be richer and more complete when working over several sessions, and you may wish to consider taking a block of four sessions in the first instance.
